Make lasting memories and connections at Tiger Jam
Tiger Jam is back in Vegas for the 21st year benefitting TGR Foundation. The two-day philanthropic event has become synonymous with the ultimate Vegas weekend with its rocking concerts, celebrity poker tournaments, great golf courses, and epic post-parties. The event has also been instrumental in making an impact on youth nationwide with all funds raised from the weekend benefitting TGR Foundation’s education and college-access programs for under-represented students. Through all of this, part of what makes the event so unique is our guest list.
Tiger Jam is a great opportunity to not only support a worthy cause but also to expand your professional network. Attending Tiger Jam puts you on the course, in the room, and dancing side-by-side with philanthropists, business leaders, influencers, entrepreneurs, athletes, musicians, celebrities and more.
“You find out that deep down, everyone has something that they care about that this organization has an impact on. And when you put all of that together, in an environment that is raising money but also is a whole lot of fun, and has a lot of unique experiences, it’s pretty much a match made in heaven,” said one tech executive who has been to a half dozen Jams.
Tiger Jam kicks off Friday, May 24 and offers something for everyone’s interest, which is part of the reason such an eclectic mix of influential guests attend every year. The event starts with a golf exhibition and Q&A featuring host Tiger Woods along with two days of golf at the exclusive Shadow Creek, a bucket list course among avid golfers. Bring your own foursome or pair up with other guests to expand your rolodex.
“I come as a single every year,” a Southern California attorney said, “I really enjoy who I get paired up with, learning their story, and why they contribute to Tiger Jam.”
On Friday evening, participants will have the opportunity to test their luck against the world’s top poker players and a host of celebrity guests at Tiger’s Poker Night presented by the World Poker Tour®.
In 2015, when he was seated next to fellow participant Mark Cuban in a blind draw, fellow participant Peter Jennings took the opportunity to build a relationship with Mark. The two bonded over basketball and Cuban ultimately invested in Peter’s company FantasyLabs. FantasyLabs provides a platform of proprietary daily fantasy sports data, tools and analytics, allowing users to leverage its massive database of stats and information for a competitive advantage.
“The explosive growth of fantasy sports, and its involvement with new categories of competition like eSports, increase the need for high-end resources like the platform offered by Fantasy Labs,” said Mark Cuban. “I’m excited to be involved with a company that is working to advance an industry that is poised for huge growth.”
The main event gets underway Saturday evening, May 25 with a pre-concert party featuring a VIP reception with a live and silent auction filled with luxury items and one-of-a-kind experiences.
“I kept bidding against another donor, and he was making me angry because I really wanted the item,” a builder from Phoenix said, “afterward, we ended up meeting and split the experience. It was a win-win all around.”
The weekend culminates at a show-stopping concert with the best seats in the house and our epic post-party — all for a great cause!
